One of the main advantages of virtualization is that businesses can reduce their IT costs. For example, a business using multiple servers can reduce the number of physical servers by using server virtualization, thereby reducing maintenance and security costs. It also allows you to make the most of your existing hardware investments. Instead of buying a new computer, laptop or server, you can improve the use of the hardware you have. Moreover, you can easily set up backup systems for disaster recovery without the need to add more hardware.
Virtualization also saves on your operating costs (eg energy bills). Since you are already using your physical computer, adding virtualization can allow you to have more computing power without any increase in your core expenses or the need for more physical space to host a server.
After virtualization, transfer of content from your server to your new hardware, whether in the field or in the cloud, is significantly faster.
We call Cloud Systems or Cloud Computing, all of the services you have, where all your applications, programs and data are stored on a virtual server, that is, in the cloud, and you can easily access this information, data, programs through your devices in any environment you are connected to the Internet.
Types of Cloud Systems:
Public Cloud:
In the Public Cloud, we set up our own structure (general structure, system) completely using the cloud. So this means that we build our structure on resources that we will rent on the third company. An example of this is the e-mails we use. We use various features of these emails without paying any money. We can use this type in small and medium-sized companies. Basically, you pay as much as you use it in the Public Cloud, in simple terms.
Private Cloud:
Private Cloud is a type of cloud technology preferred by larger companies and companies whose information is more important. As an example, we can show the Hyper – V and System Center products offered by Microsoft. Since Private Cloud is the structure we set up personally, all information is at our disposal.
Hybrid Cloud:
Hybrid Cloud are structures that emerge from the combination of Public and Private Cloud. Private Cloud technology is used where security and privacy are more important and precaution must be kept high, but it is more logical to use Public Cloud in areas where the above security measures can be kept at a lower level. Their combination also depends on the size of the companies.
Community Cloud:
If we talk about this type briefly, the first thing to note is that it is not a widely used type of cloud technology. We can explain the Community Cloud technology as follows:
If we share any service we receive on the cloud with several companies, it is called Community Cloud.
Business Analysis (BA) is the discipline of identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems. Business problems impact an organization’s capability to achieve strategic goals. Solutions to resolving problems could include changes to strategies, structures, policies, processes, and information systems. Businesses strive to get the best return from IT investments, which are generally very expensive and of critical importance to business operations.
CIOSIS‘s Business Analysts assist our clients in identifying their critical business needs. There are a number of techniques that CIOSIS Business Analysts will use when facilitating business change for the purpose of improving the business. These range from workshop facilitation techniques used to elicit requirements, to techniques for analysing and organising requirements. For the development of new systems or functionality, when appropriate, object oriented techniques are used and documenting system requirements is achieved through UML notation. CIOSIS‘s Business Analysts work to ensure that stakeholders share a common understanding of the problem, the requirements of the resolution, and the method of implementing the resolution.
With over 20 years of tech expertise and a full commitment to delivering front line products and services, CIOSIS has grown into a team of professionals capable of addressing clients’ business challenges by providing custom software development services such as desktop, web and mobile application development, cloud computing, DevOps and QA, UI and UX. IT service management (ITSM) is a set of policies, processes and procedures for managing the implementation, improvement and support of customer-oriented IT services. Unlike other IT management practices that focus on hardware, network or systems, ITSM aims to consistently improve IT customer service in alignment with business goals.
ITSM encompasses multiple IT management frameworks that can apply to centralized and de-centralized systems. There are multiple frameworks that fall under the ITSM discipline, and some address unique industry-specific IT needs, including those in healthcare, government or technology. Businesses using ITSM consider IT as a service, with a focus on delivering valuable services to customers, rather than a department that manages technology.
